The Collegiate Academy believes that real-life experiences aligned with their major focus will enhance the education and resume of each Collegiate member.  This experience must be completed before April of their senior year and may or may not be part of the student's senior research project.  Below are a few examples that are already offered within Blackman High School or community that students may do but are not limited to:

  • Work in the school bank

  • Yearbook

  • Work in Sketch It Up

  • Work in the bookstore

Crystal Dangerfield was named the 2016 AAA Tennessee Miss Basketball last night! This is the second year she has won this honor, along with being a finalist for it her Sophomore year!

Also, it was just announced that Crystal has won the Morgan Wootten award! The Morgan Wootten Award recognizes the nation's top high school basketball senior who demonstrates outstanding character, exhibits leadership, and embodies the values of being a student-athlete in both his school work and community affairs.  This ultimately means, she was named NATIONAL player of the year! It is an immense honor for her, don't think there is a better student to represent Blackman High School!
